Its been a while...

Time for an Update just Before the Year is Over

This post is not going to get too personal because I am superstitious and when the time is right another post will be in the works! As far as my health goes, it is getting a little bit better as long as I eat and continue eating a GLUTEN FREE Diet. I finally look like a healthy person as far as the weight part goes and not a boney stickly figure like I was there for a while.

As fr as work goes, I am enjoying doing my makeup and fashion shows, especially the charity shows!! I love all the new people I have met and networking went fantastically! Contacts are key!

I am not a big Tis the season kind of person but I do enjoy seeing my family and friends It just seems so hectic nowadays and that Christmas has lost its meaning and people are trying like hell....ummm I mean heck hah to get it back to the way it used to be well, sometimes new traditions are good especially when you are a new family yourselves :-)

I have some great resolutions that are going to be in action before you know it!! The days are just flying by!! My blog about that will be up fo sho lol!!!

EVERYONE Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! Be Safe Be Happy Be Well Be kind Be thoughtful Be YOU! XOXOXOXOXO

Love~ Geoff and Celia Hilts

Awesome Work Stuff Coming Up

As much as I have worked to get myself and name out there for agents and photographers to seek me out for their projects and photo shoots, the time has come!! RAW Artist Las Vegas asked me to be spotlighted in their monthly event which includes a fashion show, DJ and other artistic trades to see and get interested in all the while helping out a fellow artist. I will get to shoot a video of myself telling why I do what I do and what inspires the looks I love most. I am very excited for that because I will get to get all dolled up too!! I will be working the fashion show in the back doing makeup on each of the models, changing their looks after walking. This is my dream, I love fashion shows (in the back) I love the fast pace, I work well under pressure! Photo shoots come in a close second favorite because after the makeup is done I can see behind the camera how it looks and have the opportunity to direct and change what I see and make everything look better and there is always the option of choosing the best pictures for my portfolio and tossing the negatives. The event is held October 27th at Tommy Rockers on Dean Martin. Tickets are $10 and you would be supporting me!! I would love to see all your faces there!!

Also, someone from Ed Hardy who is a model and talent coordinator contacted me for their next photo shoot for the next catalog. I would only have to do 5 models and keep the main focus on the face like foundation, contouring, highlighting, cheeks and lips! Easy peasy lemon squeezy haa That is my favorite part of makeup. Eye shadow comes in a close second but I love the beauty in the shapes of peoples faces. The pay is good I just hope that this is a real deal because I don't want to waste my time on photographers trying to jerk you around, it happens in the business but that is what I am always aware of and skeptical until I get there and I am paid :-)

There are certain photographers I work with when they come to town. I haven't done any traveling for a shoot yet but I wouldn't mind as long as I am treated right and it's not too far away!!

I have to make a decision very soon on what I am going to put my all into for the future and my career. Staying in makeup means getting my own business license before January, that excites me a little and also makes me a little nervous lol. If I choose another more stable profession I need to get schooling done asap with a part time job in the mean time. This decision will most likely be dictated by how well the rest of my makeup work goes for the next couple months..... We will see. Tough decision.

Better Late then Never

Hi Hi Hi-ya!! Sorry it has been forever and a day since my last post. I haven't had the energy nor the motivation for that matter. My health is a toss up day to day... If I eat the right things (Gluten Free) than I don't get as sick but the Dr.s say I need to continue eating the "right" way for me from now on and it will be a few weeks even months for me to tell a significant difference. I can't wait. I am literally so tired of being sick and tired. A positive turn has taken place after being diagnosed with celiac disease, I now know that I can learn a new way of life, a healthier way of life. I am very excited to master this lifestyle for when I have kids and then they can follow in my footsteps and be educated like I wish I would have been. Times are changed and things are different now so that means changing a lot of regular daily habits will need to be replaced with healthy alternatives if people like me want to stay happy and healthy and soon enough the rest of the smart people in the world will follow the green movement :-) We can hope!

As far as work is going for me I couldn't be more happy. I get to choose my own schedule for when I can take a photo shoot and do the makeup they need done. I love my job and I also love learning more about it through each shoot I do and each model and/or photographer I meet. A lot of networking comes along with this gig but that part is fun too!

As for Geoff, he is doing phenomenal at his job. He is the lead service tech for the company and he is writing up all kinds of bids and jobs for approval. I am so proud of him and what he has accomplished in his field of work in such a short amount of time. We have BIG plans for the future!!
^^^^^^YESSSSSSSS ^^^^^^

One last thing .... I have been so hooked to Pinterest it is a sickness!! Seriously I am stuck on that website so if you want to find me I think that would be great! I feel extremely creative when I am on that website but when I get off I can't keep the ideas in my head long enough to actually do them LOL!
***13 DAYS UNTIL OUR 1 YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!! :-)

What's goin on..now..

Hello everyone it has been a while!!
Everything has been so crazy!

First and foremost my cousin Della is here! She moved here from LA and is looking for work, we all know how hard it can be to find something right now...let me know if you know of anything!! I am most excited to just hang out and visit with her, she always brings my spirits up! She will do well here with all of our love and encouragement. :-)

To update everyone on my health, I have seen Dr. after Dr. of different specialties and taking blood test after test after test... needless to say I am exhausted from it all and ready to find a cure and get on with my life. So far I have gravitated more towards a Gluten Free Vegan diet. I can see how it would be hard to change that drastically but food kills my stomach and I am still secretly waiting on that meal pill haha  I have been doing cleanses and drinking tons of water to flush out toxins from medications. I JUST WANT TO BE BETTER ALREADY!!! Is that too much to ask ... sheesh!

On a lighter note, Geoff and I have a Staycation planned for next weekend... allllll comped by his boss for what an awesome job he has been doing! We are being treated to a $200 special dinner at any restaurant we choose and a room at the M Hotel & Casino, I am so excited I can't stand it!! Just me and him :-)

This weekend it is our #1 goal to have our office completely done by the end of tomorrow but I would like it done today but I don't see that happening (I want to go get a pedi lol shh) We have so much stuff and sooooo many bills that need to be paid and or filed away! After the office is done we are going to get the bills out in a more timely fashion and stay organized with it all. We are on the fast track to paying bills off. Each month another bill gets paid in full. It is a great feeling but you sacrifice going out and doing just about anything for it. It will all be worth it though!! I will show a picture when we are all done! :-)

Have some adventures I am planning for the future like ummmmmm VISITING COLORADO!!! I will get to see my April and relax in nice weather which I will be cold in haha! I miss her so much so it is time for me to go there. Ever since she moved away in 9th grade we take turns visiting and my turn is loooong over due so I am planning that adventure first!!!

Since I am no longer too sick and contagious, this weekend I will hopefully be able to go and see Hasheys little Madison XO

Thanks for following me and keeping up with my blog. A lot has been going on and in a nutshell this is the outcome. When I have more answers to certain things I will blog some more and start letting you all know how this Gluten Free Vegan living is going hehe

Take Care have an AWESOME weekend!!
Peace'n'Love

Change is constant..& necessary

July 15 2011,
Lately I have been feeling a strong urge for a change in my life whether it be moving away, getting rid of old "friends" and getting new and true ones, finding a new hobby me and the honey can do together! It is pretty sad when family is who you are supposed to be able to count on the most but it hasn't been working out that way..  Geoff and I have made it this far on our own so we will just continue to do well and keep our distance from the negativity. So sad people can't grow up, high school was pathetic when I was there 6 years ago and last time I checked we are almost 25 years old. Either own up or get out of my life already.
On a lighter note....... I have been OBSESSED with all the Greys seasons (even though I have seen them all) LOL I am continuing Dr. appts to help my eating issues and doing amazing makeup for awesome photo shoots! I love being a housewife and working from home, now if we can just keep our distance we will be just fine and out of this town in no time! :-)

**MY Family!! I love them to the moon and back and THEY are what is important in my life now. Along with some good people to keep it FUN always!

Everything changes..nothing stays the same.

I am a once a month kind of blogger..... How is everyone?? This past month I have been doing nothing but make up for photo shoots which is my passion and networking to get more busy. So far I have been contacted by the director of Miss Virginia and an up and coming bathing suit designer. I love not feeling the stress of working under other people, I am my own boss!! A lil preview of my work below...

While that part of my life is taking off.... of course my health is not. I have to wait until AUGUST to get in to the Dr. for more information of what foods I can and can NOT eat so far after all the tests, any way the outcome, I will go vegan and gluten free. It is just overall healthier and I can only HOPE it helps with my stomach pain and everything else that goes along with this sickness. Of course my anxiety doesn't help matters at all!
Butttt stresses in my personal life have become more and more evident that everything changes and nothing stays the same no matter how long you have known someone. This falling out has really taken a toll on me but music is my therapy. I know I have done nothing wrong, it still hurts but you gotta move on. That is exactly what I intend on doing. I am lucky to have a great support system like Geoff. I'd be nothing without him. We're moving on, it's excited and fun!

I hope everyone has an awesome 4th of July! Be safe! I will blog after I swear ha!

Almost... so close... but still not done.

Hello Hello,
Alot has happened since the last time I blogged. Our new house is now a home with all of our pictures up to make it cozy! Guest bedroom half way decorated and the office just needs some filing (not bad) :)
In other news... my health can't just be normal for one day. I have to be that odd ball who always has something going on. Some people call it hypochondriac syndrome I call it "you take the pain for 1 day and see how long you last" lol!! 2 hospital visits in 1 week SUCKS! My arms look like I have been shooting up for years from the IV I am all bruised! What the heck! They figured some things out and I have all the medication I need to make me better (hopefully) I have the best most supporting husband who has made this scary experience much easier on me and my parents most definately have helped so so so much I am so so so grateful!! I am lucky to have the family and friends who are still around.
Recently ALOT of miscommunication has been going on with "best friends" and nieve family members. It's sad but it's life and I am happy, Geoff is happy and the people who mean the most to us and are there for us are happy, that is all that matters!!
On a lighter note... my make up portfolio is expanding from all the new people I am meeting, photographers, models and hair stylists. It is an amazing feeling to be working in something you are most passionate and creative with! Eventually I will set up a website or fb page to show my work :)
Good friends coming to town this weekend to take my mind off of things and have some fun!! Very excited about that!!

Anddd to end HAPPY ANNIVERSARY GRANDMA & GRANDPA!! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING IN THE WORLD!! XOXOXOXO

New New....Old!

NEW House! NEW decorations/furntiure! OLD feeling of security with my Geoffery! Our cute 1 story 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house actually feels like home :) There is so much to get done..yes still. Only the Kitchen and Master Bedroom is all unpacked. This weekend we hope to hang all of our pictures of family friends and my wedding wall collection!!
We have been married for 6 almost 7 months and my lazy buttt is just now getting around to choosing the wonderful pictures Nancy Smith took for us! She has been a part of my life since I was in 3rd grade!! Her daughter Michaela and I are great friends still today :) Once all the beautiful pictures are here I received collage frames, jeweled frames, and other funky style frames to put them in because I am obviously a funky style kinda person haa!! The whole wall in my dining room will be dedicated to our wedding day from beginning to end with each friend and family member that we cherish so much!
After this project I will be tackling the guest bedroom... the theme here is memory lane. All my dance team and cheerleading uniforms, homecoming queen sash and maybe the crown along with Geoffs baseball jerseys from wayyyy back when and baseball hats maybe even some trophies will be up in that room for all to see and remember. I'm sure I will find ALOT of our pictures from Burkholder Middle School where we were in the yearbook as cutest couple in 8th grade lol!! Also my old bed from my parents house will be in there so people can stay over if they wanted!
Moving to the last room...well that one is easy its the office! Computer desk- CHECK, computer- CHECK all bills and filing cabinets to stay organized- CHECK, andddd 2 recliners my mom gave to Geoff and I that used to be her daddy's...my grandpa- Diamond Jim (RIP)
I am starting to like this whole housewife thing. Well its housewife with a twist because I am no typical wife haha! Sometimes its clean and dinner is ready and sometimes I am nappin on the couch but the best thing is my husband doesn't care either way. At the end of the day we get to sit together and see what we have and are continuing to create and its very EXCITING!! That is whats goin on so far, I am sure I will post a Mother's Day blog with pictures for my awesome Mom, Mother-in-law and Grammies!!

One last thing......  being home alone I've been listening to Shwayze alot. He is a great musical artist and I love this quote to sum up Geoff and I's relationship as laid back as we are ;)
"I'm his corona and lime and he is my sandy beach"

**Hope you enjoyed........ PEACE'n'LOVE

Out with the old & in with the new!

As of today there are 10 days left to pack up this gigantic house, arrange internet, utilities etc... But I am unusually excited for this 4th move in 4 years, ready for it to be unpack and decorate time! I am not creative. I don't get excited to fill picture frames or even see my stuff in a new home. This particular move has me very ready for a change. Finally will be able to share all my pictures with family and friends and start our new healthy life in our new home...ps with a great dog run! Yay!! I know very much Zae and Koa are going to be in heaven at the new house and Geoff and I will actually feel like newlyweds. This will be an awesome start to our amazing life ahead :) Sooo that's what I'm looking forward to, hopefully I can contain myself haha!

A fresh start!

I don't have pictures right now to show off but for my first post I figured I would let you in on whats new in this Hilts home. Geoff is working and the breadwinner i guess you could say (dont tell him i said that haha) and I am going to school finishing my radiography degree. I couldn't be happier.
We are planning on moving into a smaller house so that everything will be manageable and comfortable. I am excited to be in a new house but I just want to skip the pack, move, unpack ordeal ugh! Everything will be great and everything happens for a reason!! :)
I promise to get better at the blogging and soon pictures will be up! Hope this first installment didn't bore anyone too much!! I'll be baaaack!!! One.Love
